In the end it is our hopes
that bring us through another day
when trials and tribulations
leave us feeling frayed.
In the end, we are the future;
the past, already done.
And in this present moment
the future can be won.
In the end, it is you and I
who will decide our fate.
We look without, we look within,
desires accumulate.
In the end, we are only our dreams,
our hopes, turned into flowers.
What we desire the future holds,
within you and I, the power.
