8.6.12 THE HYPOCRITES' CREED

THE HYPOCRITES' CREED

He came to save her,
or so she thought,
her white knight
like she'd been taught.

Perchance a doctor
to heal her heart.
Broken, shattered,
it had had a rough start.

When things turned crazy
her white knight went black
all that she learned
fell under attack.

And no doctor was he
as she felt her heart bleed
too late was it when she discovered
his Hipocrates' Creed.

Lie when convenient
let the story unfold
as long as she's willing
he could be bold.

But his last little lie
his last stab in her back
with his Hipocrates' Creed
left her world black.

He has gone from her world
she's repairing her heart
but she can't forget
how he tore it apart.

So she cries when she must
and smiles when she can
going forward alone
she's making her stand.

8.6.12 HARD RAIN FALLING

HARD RAIN FALLING

It starts
one drop at a time
from a white puffy cloud
just floating by.

The weight slowly builds
and the cloud becomes black
larger drops fall
in this water attack.

Get your umbrella
your galoshes and coat,
it falls even harder
creating a moat.

But do not dispair
this water do not fear
this hard rain falling
is only my tears.
