HARD RAIN FALLING
It starts
one drop at a time
from a white puffy cloud
just floating by.
The weight slowly builds
and the cloud becomes black
larger drops fall
in this water attack.
Get your umbrella
your galoshes and coat,
it falls even harder
creating a moat.
But do not dispair
this water do not fear
this hard rain falling
is only my tears.
